I have been wRiting since I was a teenager. I have and continue to be compelled to express my feelings and thoughts about those things I believe matter. Will reading what I've wRitten influence your worldview in some small way? Will it change your behavior? Perhaps.
In as much as I wRite (and perform aloud) to shake things up, I also wRite to give voice to ephemeral awareness that otherwise simply fades back into darkness. Either way I have no choice but to do it. From the first time I saw the black and white newsreels of the dead and broken bodies of Jewish people being liberated from German concentration camps until I witnessed heroin's d
evastation in Harlem and the South Bronx, I have needed to say something about injustice and man's inhumanity to man.
